Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Shopify apps (custom and public).
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into Shopify.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth app functionality and store performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing Shopify apps.
- Ensure all Shopify apps comply with Shopify’s API and development guidelines.
- Optimize app performance for speed, scalability, and SEO.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience building Shopify apps using Shopify API, REST/GraphQL.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and Liquid.
- Familiarity with Shopify CLI, Polaris, and App Bridge.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Express, MongoDB, Firebase, or MySQL.
- Deep understanding of app authentication, webhooks, and Shopify Plus features.
- Strong knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Ability to write efficient, secure, and reusable code.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
